Turn of header data sent with each email?

I have noticed that MLM always includes the following information in each email it sends:

"Mime-Version: 1.0
From: "XXXX" <XXXX@XXXX.XXX>
Date: Wed, 20 Apr 2011 11:12:59 +0000
X-Mailer: PHP/5.2.12
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8; Format=flowed
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit"

Is it necessary to have this information in each mail or can it be turned off somewhere? I find this to be rather confusing for subscribers.

Those are headers, do you mean that those header are visible?

Yes, exactly. I have them at the beginning in each of my mails I receive from MLM. I am using Apple Mail.

I guess there is something wrong with your settings. Have you checked them?
