I am a web designer and send out email campaigns for clients using MaxBulk Mailer 4.0.1.

My question deals with how to handle bouncebacks:

When a recipient's email address is incorrect, in-box is full, spam settings don't allow HTML emails, etc... I get a bounced back email. However, this is only if the settings in MaxBulk Mailer reflect that the email is from my server. My clients would like their email addresses in the From header of an email, but if I do this, they get all the bouncebacks.

MaxBulk Mailer provides an Errors-To header, but it doesn't seem to work. I've filled it out with my email address, and put my client's email address in the From header, but the bounces (Errors) go to my client's email address. Since my client would rather have his email address in the From header, but not deal with bouncebacks himself (without giving me access to his email account, of course), how do I get bounces to go to a DIFFERENT email address than what's listed in the "From" header?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Smile

A MTA is free to take the Error-To header into account or not. As a result bounces are not always sent where they should. One solution is to use your address in the 'From' field and use your customer address for the 'Reply To' field. That way, you get the bounces but your customer gets the replies.
