|
|
I'm having trouble creating a connection for my client. They are using an MS Exchange server on their in house LAN. The server is set up like EXVMBX111.exch111.msoutlookonline.net which they connect to with outlook.. The smtp is not their domain name AFASIK, since I host their domain and use an MX record for their mail to their servers....
If I used no authentication, MB would try to send out on port 25 but times out. However, There are several options in the pop up, like use POP or ESMB or NASOK or something like that.
I don't see anything in the manual to guide you on set up.
Please help !
Thanks

I have tried using smtp and their domain name and I've tried alternate ports 2525 and 587. The ESMTP setting seems to be the only one that works. It opens a connection but then fails. I have to cancel the connection. POP and APOP produce 103 errors.

The domain DNS host is on pair.com,
the exchange mail server is hosted on another company site. |
