Tried converting using QIF import. All items were imported. But the balance are not accurate. There were instances importing a credit card goes to categories instead of liabilities. Credit card is highlighted though

Is there a way to change the transaction type from "undefined" to something else automatically? Something like a script or macro? I have thousands of entries.

There is a tool right for that called QIF Master (Mac OS only). It allows you to edit a QIF file before importing it.
