|
|
I have a loan account, entered some months back and which has been decremented monthly via the Schedule feature. The Last payment date having being incorrectly set, I attempted to edit the schedule but was unable to make this change so I deleted the Schedule entry and attempted to add a new Schedule entry for this account (as existing and not deletable due to the prior transactions), but it does not appear in the Target Account listing so cannot be created.
In the Transaction pane, (and in queries for example), all previous entries for this account appear correctly with the account name showing.
However, on selecting the entry, the Target Account in the Transaction section is blank and the (existing) account does not appear in the pop-up listing.
It ensues that for this account, I can neither:
-create a new schedule entry,
nor:
-make new manual entries,
-duplicate for further transactions,
-modify, i.e. reassign, existing transactions to a re-named loan account
so as to delete existing account and start afresh.
Total blocage. Would appreciate your help. |

| Is it possible you have deactivated the account? |

Well, that was an easy one for you, my face is red. All is back in order now.
Yes the account was de-activated but appears by some quirk to have become "un-ticked".
I'd be prepared to accept I may somehow have done this inadvertantly, but I certainly had not gone wittingly to the Account Manager to neutralise the account.
Doc, is it serious, is that possible, am I going to be OK?. |

| Hopefully in next v4 deactivated accounts appear as deactivated everywhere. It is easier to find out. |
