I am sending both inline and offline attachments. I know you are not a fan of sending both, but it' the best way for me to do it.

Everything is being sent but in Outlook 2007 it is not recognising the attachments for saving purposes. The attachments are there and one can open them and save them from whichever program opened it but one cannot just "save all attachments" which one can normally do. It says that there are no attachments.

I assume this is to do with the fact that it thinks ALL attachments are inline if one of them is.

It looks like an Outlook bug to me. I don't see the reason why Outlook the attachments differently.

Quite possibly.

Outlook 2007 does not let you save inline images without making your own VB script.

It does however allow you to save "normal" attachments as in previous versions of Outlook.

Is there a different tag or something which distinguishes attachments as being inline or just a normal attachment within the HTML? As when there is an inline attachment (as well as normal attachments) I cannot save ANY of them normally via Outlook 2007. If I remove the inline attachments then I can save them normally in Outlook 2007!

Inline pictures are placed thru a CID. It is the image reference.

Hi Stan,

HAve a feeling it is an MS Outlook bug (sorry feature!!). Others have the same problem it seems and looking back at general emails I have received the paperclip appears at fairly random times!!
