You say you are using the Web Page format, right? If so, what are those <BR> for? Use:
Code:

http://www.toastrock.com/emailtemplate.html

See http://www.toastrock.com for all the band info
you need!

Okay. I wasn't sure if the line breaks were required even in the web page format. So, any text appearing after the URL will display only if the web page info cannot be displayed in a given email browser?

Thanks for all the help and patience.

Hi!

I also use the Web Page format and i like to include the alternative plain text version.

That's the content of my message window:

http://www.ccdisplay.de/cdshop/index.php?main_page=page&id=18&chapter=0

light+building 2008
Mobile Messe- und Displaysysteme !
Attrak...

and so on.

I'm using MacOSX Mail for testing, saying "Don't show pictures that are not saved local" or something like that (I don't know the exact translation in english).

Result:
The mail shows the HTML-Content without any pictures, but not my alternative text as described above.

Thanks a lot for any suggestions and answers in advance!

Best wishes from Europe
Marko

No, the alternative text is not visible. It is explained here: What is the Text/HTML format for the Text/HTML format. Mac OS X Mail lets you see that alternative text thru the 'View | Message | Plain Text Alternative' menu.
