I have just noticed that a Balance Sheet does not indicate the period or date to which it applies.
This is so on screen or when printed.
I suggest this be rectified ASAP.
Profit & Loss Statements have this information.

Is it the 'Balance Sheet | Summarized | Today' report? It works just for me.

Where should I send a copy of the Balance Sheet to illustrate the problem?

Now try a Custom Date eg 10 December 2007.
The figures are correct but the date shown is not.

Perhaps, Stan, I have not explained the problem properly.

Here is an example:
I require a Detailed Balance Sheet showing figures at 30 June 2007 (the end of the Australian Financial Year).

I select Reports>Balance sheet>Detailed>When-On date>30 June 2007>Create.

The resulting Sheet discloses the correct figures for 30 June 2007, but the only date appearing on that sheet is todays date.

Having said all that, I have discovered that, if I select When>Custom range and insert, say, 30 June 2006 and 30 June 2007, I get a Sheet that discloses the appropriate dates at the top of each column, as well as 30 June 2007 in the top right hand corner.

Ok, the problem has been fixed. The fix will be available in next version.
