I think I just found another bug.
We have a number of files with subscriber contact info. All files are based on the same template and have the exact same number of tags.
When I drag and drop from one file to another some of the info in the tags disappears. But when I copy and paste, all the info appears in the new file.
Anyone else having this problem?

| Do you mean dragging and dropping text from the message field between two documents? This is handled by your operating system. There is no intervention by MaxBulk Mailer here. |

No -- what I mean is that I have two MBM files open. I click on a recipient in the first file and drag it to the other file. There are six tags (fields) but only the first three import. The last three are blank.
But . . . when I click on the recipient in file #1 and click copy in the file menu and then paste in the 2nd MBM file, all six tags are placed correctly.
Does my description make sense?

Ok, I understand. This intended actually. When you drag a row MaxBulk creates a Vcard actually. That allows you to drop the data in any application supporting VCards. Those applications only support standard data. However when you copy and paste, you copy the data as is.
In next 5.6.4 (to be released tomorrow) I have added some code so if you press the ALT key when dragging the row, all data is copied to the clipboard in plain text format rather than Vcard. |

Thanks Stan
I was worried that this was a bug. As long as there is at least one sure way to copy data between files, then I'm a happy camper.
Thanks again for your prompt response.
BTW, what exactly is a Vcard -- and why does MBM use this type of format?

| VCard is a standard format to exchange contact info between applications. It is the format used by Mac OS X Address Book, Entourage and Outlook to name a few. MaxBulk uses this format to allow you to drag and drop contacts from those applications. |
