|

Hi,
I have MBM Pro, and the thing is, even if i set on Headers:
Errors-to [thisismy@emailadress.com]
or
Errors-to thisismy@emailadress.com
I will not get any Bounces whatsoever on my mailbox. Even though i have added fake recipients on purpose i will not get any bounces.
Ive sent mails trhough a different Bulk Mailer using the very same SMTP server and email account... and that other mailing software will generate bounces on my mailbox, unlike MBM.
(I want to use MBM cause it the very best software ive seen for MAC so far)
What could i do get this bounces on my mailbox?
Am i missing something here?
Thanks for your help |

Are you sure you are using the same server with both softwares? Is the header properly set?
Note that a server is free to ignore that header actually. You will find out that most servers do. |

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, the settings are exactly the same for both softwares, same mail servers, just different softwares. With the old one i use i get bounces but with MBM i do not get any.
Note: When i send an email trhough my webmail acces, i will get bounces if a mail can not be sended to a particular adress
P.S: For whoever read this in the future i must say MBM is still a great piece of tool since its system makes my emails not be recogniced as SPAM while using other software sometimes does, even when it is the very same message. |

| As far as I know, the server is free to use you 'Errors-to' address or not. Per my own experience it almost never takes care of the address and send the bounces to the sender address. Also bear in mind that some server-side spam filters can delete your message without notice as soon as you reach a score threshold. I have seen this several times so far. |
