With no response from the eMail I sent, I thought I'd post it here.
Did you know:
In the unregistered version (gah, I'm still saving up for $20, I'm a few cents off) when you go to File -> Open, and then press Cancel without selecting anything that eMail Extractor quits itself? This a bug or a RealBASIC issue? |

| It depends, if you dropped a file to extract addresses from directly to the eMail Extractor icon and then cancel, eMail Extractor quits. This is intended. However it shouldn't (and doesn't for me) if you drop a file to its main dialog and then press cancel. |

It's not Drag-N-Drop.
From the FILE menu, select OPEN. Once the OPEN dialog is up, press the CANCEL button

Yes.
Are you unable to reproduce this error? I have used XSlimmer to remove the Intel coding, though this should not cause the error. |

| I cannot actually. Not sure why it quits for you but perhaps it is something at system level. When you press the cancel button we use a clean-up timer and after about 5 seconds the process is cancelled and the dialog remains on screen. This is how it is intended to work. |

| You're right, we were talking about different buttons. In fact I can reproduce the problem. Actually it was coded that way a long time ago when the application was created on Mac OS 8.6. I have removed the 'Quit' code. Next version will no longer quit that way. Thanks. |
