Impossible to extract information from MX record

Hi!

I´ve just started using eMail Verifier 3.2 but, after importing emails from a txt file, the program gives me the following results for ALL emails:

[[Error] Impossible to extract information from MX record.]

Why is that and what should I do to fix it?

This uses to happen when port 25 is blocked or when no DNS server has been set in the preferences. Have you check both? To check port 25 blocking follow the steps listed here here.

I am also new to the Email Verifier software and I am receiving the same error message. I verified I inserted the DNS server information and also checked the blockage of port 25 using telnet. However, when I used the telnet instructions for testing port 25 blockage I receive an error message "Could not open connection to the host, on port 25: Connect Failed. When I checked with my ISP I was told that port 25 was not blocked. I am also testing other email verifying software and I'm not having a problem with them. Is there anything else I could check or verify?

Your telnet response indicates port 25 is blocked or nothing is listening. Can you check one single address with eMail Verifier and paste here the DNS lookup info?

Hi,

I´ve used used telnet instructions for testing port 25 blockage and I get a successful 220 responde.

However, I continue to get the "[[Error] Impossible to extract information from MX record.]" message... Confused

Could you give me some more help in this matter?

Can you check one single address with eMail Verifier and paste here the DNS lookup info?
