Problem using hotmail...

Hello people, I had a problem a few months ago and eventually worked it out, but now I have switched computers/internet providers and am having trouble reconfiguring the settings so that I can send stuff.

I see that the only error number is 102, so I disabled my antivirus program, still no luck.

My settings are:

mail.hotmail.com:110
ESMTP authentication

Anyone have any advice?

Have you tried to use one single connection?

Why are you using port 110? This is the port using by POP servers.

Have you tried to activate SSL?

Ok I tried all the different settings under SSL and it kept timing out.

Have you checked with Hotmail if whether your settings are correct? Actually I don't know what those settings are. Actually I though Hotmail had no SMTP service at all.

Do you know what the settings would be if I was using rogers??
