Where is the built in spam checker in MaxBulk Mailer? I ran my html email through a spam checker on the internet and it came up with no flags, said all was good. The problem I'm experiencing however is the messages getting caught by corporate and small business junk/spam mail filters. The message being sent is pretty basic, its just a photo, and the photo is a link. Hard to explain, its for a photographic portfolio presentation. Its clearly not spam. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The SpamChecker is available on US version only as it checks your message contents against an english set of rules. Anyway, a message containing only a picture has great chances to be flagged as spam. You should consider adding some text.

my newsletter was just plain text and small businesses still flagged it as spam. spam checker suggested i add a tag to my subject so next time i'll add [News] hopefully that'll solve the problem. i don't know how many people didn't get their message. hopefully not hundreds since that'd defeat the whole purpose of this program.

In How to avoid messages from being flagged as spam article there is an e-mail address you can use to check your message with a real spam filter.

i sent the test email and came back with a score of 0.1, which is the lowest next to 0.0. then i resent my message to a friend that got my original email in his spam folder and resent to him with [NEWS] as the first word in the subject, just as Max Bulk suggested. once again, the message went into his spam folder. this program is of little use if people can;t get my messages.

Spam filtering has nothing to do with the software you use, it has to do with the contents of your message. Tell your friend to send you the message headers. Sometimes you can get the response from there.

how come he gets my messages if i email them direct, but they go to his spam folder if i use max bulk? i'm using the same email accounts, sending the same message from the same computer. the only variable is max bulk. in this instance, the program is doing something to make the email look like spam.

MaxBulk has a lot of settings. Are you sending any custom header?, is the Singly box checked? Is the sender address belonging to the server you use? You should find a difference their. Comparing headers is a good way too.
