I use both PCs and Macs.
It seems that the data files are cross platform, which is a great feature !!!
( you do need to make certain that the extension is .mbm)
I found that if you save as "style text" on a Mac and open on the PC the app will crash.
I found that if you save as "plain text: on a Mac and open on the PC, it look correct, until you preview and you realize the formatting is lost.
Am I missing something?
Is there an easy fix ?
Thanks |

| Files are cross-platforms but when you use Styled Text. Styled Text is handled very differently on the Mac and on the PC. A fix is coming. We will change current proprietary format with RTF. RTF format is fully cross-platform. |

Thanks for the VERY QUICK reply.
I believe I lost formatting (CR & LF) when I used Plain Text.
Any thoughts ?
Or to address my current issue.
Is there an easy to support cross platform today ?
Also, were you able to replicate the crash ?
thanks again !!
great product. |

Do you mean line breaks are changed between platforms? In which direction, Mac->PC or PC->Mac?
You can fully support cross-platform avoiding using Styled Text. Styles Text will produce a lot of problems and sometimes it can crash. We will replace internal format with RTF soon. That way, Styled Text will be fully cross-platform. |
