I am trying to dump a particular section of Craigslist, but all I get is an empty directory.

I wanted to get all posting in the same directory as this post:
http://newyork.craigslist.org/fct/lgs/241599658.html

So I entered the following into WebDumper:
http://newyork.craigslist.org/fct/lgs/

Is there any way to get these items?

Second link should work. Have you tried to reset preferences?
