Hi,

I'd appreciate any help I can get with this problem.

EBulkMailer is very slow in certain functions. In particular, when I attempt to save a bulk email message, it usually takes at least a minute to complete the save. In that time, the program just hangs.

And if I move to another another window, then click back on the EBulkMailer window, it often doesn't respond by becoming the front/active window.

Preview mode is also slow, and the window takes 20-30 seconds to activate once the tab is clicked.

I'm using a 2.16 GHz Core Duo Intel iMac with 1.5 GB of memory and Version 10.4.8 OSX, with MaxBulk Mailer 5.0 Pro.

I find also that when I am saving a long e-mail that is in styled text it seems as if it is freezing.

It takes so long that I need to quit to get on with other things

G5 full gigs and memory etc latest OS

Can someone at base throw light on this glitch?

A little more experimenting.

It is definitely something in the saving function when styled messages are saved.

In plain it zips through

Short styles take a short while.

It seems that a long message styled is a no-no.

Even before any styles are included. One could wait for the whole process to finish but then that rather destroys the function of e-mail over the netjavascript:emoticon('Wink')

Any thoughts at maxBulk?

Yes, all that is true. We have optimized the process a lot. Now it is instantaneous when no alignments have been used (center and right) and a lot faster if some have been used. The new version is available as a 5.0.1 prerelease here. It will be there until we officially release v5.0.1, then it will be available on the regular MaxProg download page.
