I think it is way too much trouble to have to rely on the use of complicated (and ugly) CGI scripts, and mess with permissions, then FTP to grab a text file of subscribers/unsubscribers, then have to load that file into Maxbulk, just to do something that my simple mail program already did so well --

why not incorporate a mail client into MaxBulk, so us non-programmer types can easily set up a "subscribe@mydomain.com" email address that only Maxbulk recognizes -- then it could easily add/remove subscribers from the recipients lists automatically.

This would also open up the possibility to have automated processing of bounced emails, too.

There's no reason why it shouldn't be 100% automatic. This is simple stuff. C'mon, lets get creative and fix this issue!

We are currently developing an opt-in subscription system in PHP. We are trying to do it as simple as possible. We have no plans to convert MaxBulk Mailer into a mail reader right now.
