|
|
Hello,
Just bought the email verifier (version 3.1-us (12)) and am running on windows xp version 2002 SP 2.
I'm sure this is a simple problem but can't figure it out. I ran it overnight on about 1700 emails and it verified only the aol.com, hotmail.com, yahoo.com, etc. emails...none of the others.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you. |

| I found the telnet instructions to test port 25 and it seems it is blocked. Are there any options to test our emails using a different port or circumvent our ISP's blocking of port 25? |

| SMTP uses port 25. If that port is blocked eMail Verifier will never work. There is no alternative port. |

Our ISP assures me that port 25 isn't blocked but I'm still unable to get software to validate any addresses.
Anybody have any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong? |

| Is there any way to determine if port 25 is blocked without asking my ISP? Thank you very much. |
