Help! Does anyone know if the new version of MaxBulk Mailer Pro (v5 Pro) supports sending email to recipients using Port 587 for the SMTP host setting (instead of the default port 25)?
Comcast tells me I have to use port 587 now, instead of Port 25 in order to send mail. I tried that in v.4.4.4, but it didn't work (smtp.comcast.net:587).
I was running MaxBulk Mailer fine last year until Comcast recently blocked Port 25, so now I can't successfully use MaxBulk Mailer, as Comcast has apparently blocked its customers from using 3rd party email programs from Port 25 (to prevent spam).
Thank you! |
