Unable to edit some transactions

I'm trying to import roughly six months of transaction data from my credit card & bank accounts. The data is in QIF format. Importing went OK.

The problem is that I'm increasingly unable to edit some transactions, specifically, ones where the type is "Undefined". (That is the default type that gets assigned to every transaction I import.)

Transactions that I've previously categorized as something other than "Undefined" can be edited. When I click on them, all three of the "Change/Delete/Add" buttons are enabled. But when I move down to any of my Undefined transactions, the Change and Add buttons are greyed out; only the Delete button is enabled.

(To answer the obvious question, yes, I'm a registered user.)

Some basic info about the database I'm working with:

Size: 20.5MB
Transactions: 769 (Trash: 10)
Accounts: 77 (Trash: 7)
Categories: 49 (Trash: 0)

Have I hit a limit of some kind? Is this a known issue? Would appreciate any guidance you can offer. Can provide screen shots and/or screen capture * showing the problem if needed.

Thanks & regards,
Rick

Those buttons are grayed out when some data is missing. What happens when you set a transaction type?

Setting the transaction type alone didn't change anything, but the Target Account was also unspecified (starts out that way after I import QIF files). Setting the Target Account enabled the Add/Change buttons. A little more curiosity and I probably would have figured that out--thanks!!
