|
|
Have a really serious problem. I have switched from AceMoney by transferring all transactions for 7 years (about 30000 transaction) into iCash but now very serious problem is revealed.
I use 3 different currencies in my accounts. But if for example I have transaction "Computer buying" in USD for 900 and in UAH for 1500 then in "Profit and loss statement" I receive result for Computer line as 2400 (no currency is quoted at all and two amounts are simply added without using any rates). All rates are OK and in “Overview” window balances are summarized fine in accordance to current rates. The same wrong calculation is in “Charts” (also without using rates).
Also tried other reports but they all are wrong (all amounts are simply added without calculations according to current rates).
I have tried to resolve problem by adding another expenditure account for “Computer” in two different currencies but with the same result.
Please help me resolve this matter.
Will be very grateful for your assistance. |

Transactions use the rates in those same transactions. Look at the transaction panel, you will see there is two rates fields. If you transfer money between account of different currencies and don't enter any rate the software will automatically use 1 as the rate. Everything is explained here: How iCash applies currencies and rates?.
In your case you will have to edit all those transactions and add the rates. It can be a huge task if you have a lot of transactions of that kind, do you? |
