I apologize if this is already on the board somewhere, I couldn't find it if it was.
What is the difference between Valid and Looks Valid? Technical explanations are welcome.

| Valid means the software is 100% sure the email is valid. The response from the server is clear. Looks valid means there are chances the address is good but because of the response the software can't be 100% sure. A 4xx response from the server can produce this. |
