How to get a formatted email message from Mail to MaxBulk...

Hey there,

Sorry if this has been asked and answered, but I'm a new user and it's driving me crazy.

I have an email that someone sent me sitting in Mail and it's exactly what I want to send. It looks to be Text&Html. In Mail, it looks very nicely formatted with pictures (links), text formatting, etc.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to paste that exact message into MaxBulk document. Everything I do looks horribly formatted, extra characters, etc...not looking anything like my original.

Please...anyone...HOW?!?!?!

Yes.

In Mail, I select View/Message/Raw Source and select all and copy.

In MaxBulk, I select Text|HTML and then paste into the message. When I select Preview, I don't see anything.

Then I went back to the message and cut out the header, and still nothing.

Here's the html part. You'll notice that there isn't a <html> & </html> at the beginning and end. I don't know why, but that's what was in Mail. So, I tried putting them in, and I get something...it's a mess and nothing like what it looks like in Mail.

2 problems. First one, as you say the HTML is not complete. No <HTML> nor </HTML> tags. No <BODY> nor </BODY> tags either. Also the message is encoded with Quoted Printable. It is a bit hard to restore it to its original state.

we have the same problem. We created MIME encoded data from a HTML-Nesletter and get the enclosed code. How can we send this with MaxBulk Mailer or is there another way to send nice looking HTML-Newsletters:

I tried saving the email message from Mail as an RTF file. Opened it up in TextEdit, copied and pasted it into MaxBulk as a StyleText message I get nothing in Preview window.

Sad

This is really sad and frustrating...

This is not the way to go either. You have to load the complete code with Dreamweaver and fix it first. Once you are done paste the new code to MaxBulk Mailer.

The real problem is that the the text is "quoted printable".

The only solution I could come up with is to download a Windows utility called Kaboom. It has an Internet mail filter that cleans up the quoted printable and puts it back to straight text.

Once I did that and pasted the resulting cleaned up text into MaxBulk as HTML, all was well with the world.

Torture...
